Goodbye My Friend

Amongst the things that happened quite recently was parting with my dear friend. It was difficult for me, in fact for the whole family. Still we had to. Needed to put our priorities first. Though how much we loved you, we could not afford keeping you but depend on another.

Thank you for being a reliable friend, rain or shine. You were definitely part of the family. Served us for almost 6 years & it is finally time to let you go though how many times I had been telling people about my plan to keep you as the family companion as long as it took. Well my dear, I guess now the time has come.

You are now residing somewhere in Jalan Kuching, waiting for a new family. Thank you for putting a smile on my girls' faces without fail. The comfort you offered, the momento you brought us to, the wonderful time we treasured together. Hope that you will serve the new future family as marvellous as you shared with us.

As what is replacing the family companion will definitely be another of its clan to cater the 6+1 of us. At first we decided to maintain this apple of our heart. But, when the engine once more gave another squeaking noise we had no choice. Everything has been arranged, just waiting for the new member of the family to be delivered.

We brought the girls to have a look at their new comrade we had selected for their comfort. The looks on their faces said it all. Glad that we made the right choice. Anyhow, the girls except for Yasmin (who was rather too shy to pose that day) had a choice of their own.... ;-)Enjoy the pics!

Balqis chose a Hummer. It was also HB's dream car... which Wardah promised to get one for him. ;-)

Nadeen was struggling to reach most of the cars on displayed due to height but there was one, she was at ease reaching for .... a Porsche!

Of course, Wardah as always would make sure hers, would out shadow the rest. Her choice was a Ferrari!

Here are the girls' last moments with our dear friend. You will be missed...

Dear Ja

Sure kids tak kiss kiss atas the Chariot's body? That was what my kids did before the Wira was sold away 7 years ago. So what is the new comrade?

Did I read that correctly.. 6+1? Kalau betul, Alhamdulillah...

We all pun dah berbulan2 memikirkan which MPV/SUV to get...

So, which one did u all finally settled for?

Hi Dikny,

Awww how could I forget that kancil. Dulu kan kwn racing my satria.. hehehe!

The car we agreed on? Obviously another mpv. This time we a selected a rather common one on the road. Our previous mpv was not. Quite hard to maintain.

Hi Aida,

I met my bro last week but I forgot to tell him abt you. Anyway, yeah Alphard is the in thing nowadays but though how luxury it looks inside I can't digest myself driving such a bulky van... ;-)

Hi Kak Yatt,

Yes, kiss kiss & hug hug. Such a funny gesture over a car... To Yasmin & Wardah esp. Not the younger 2. Balqis will be excited over anything new...

The new comrade is blending well with the girls. What a relief... ;-)

Hi Kak Sherry,

Yes, the new member of the family is safe on the driveway.

We were thinking of Wish too before we purchased our previous mpv. Such a cool car. Very sporty kan?

Hi mamamia,

Hahaha! Yes you read that correctly but your interpretation was rather misleading lah...

6+1 is my family plus a helper. Not in the family way again!

If given the choice I'd love to get a 7 seater suv but the choices are limited. Have to make do with another mpv ;-) So, hv you made up your mind yet?
