J.CO Donuts

No..! My intention is far from making you drooling. Merely sharing my lust over these high in calories, loads with fats , sinful yet tantalizing to the taste buds doughnuts. Who won't crave over these American delicacies? My dad maybe... hmmmm.

I'm a doughnut lover. A regular at Dunkin Donuts ever since my teenage years. Anyhow, have not the chance to try J.CO until recently. Not sure which one to buy, I simply grabbed 2 dozens of their cute, inviting doughnuts. One of each... There was a long queue right but I found myself entertained, observing the staff. Wardah & I had fun on how the doughnuts are named. How clever! I can still recall some of the names... Oreology, Miss Green T, Al Caponne, Why Nut?

They wanted to attack the doughnuts in the car. I forbade of course. Not that I care about cleanliness alone but am afraid I would come across rejected doughnuts with teeth bites. Hmmm... but if that happens I can be the perfect CSI mom differentiating the bites.

At home, guess which did Wardah grab first? SnowWhite of course. She was the only one lining up with me getting those doughnuts. So of all 24, she was the only one choosing according to its name. Yasmin & Balqis picked based on its physical.

Here is Wardah's Snow White. Really yummy!

Once done eating, she lay down with eyes shut. When asked what was she doing? Smiling with eyes still closed, "I'm waiting for my prince to kiss me!"

Myn,
How sure are you anonymous is jemir? But mmg betul pun... He ate "Sugar Ice" (top pic, right corner). Konon, wanted to eat before work the next day. Totally forgot about it. In fact, he was late. Transport dah tunggu. Next time ye...

mamamia,

yup, better than dunkin. like myn said, the glazy (bottom pic, right corner) is simple but yummy. i love the one his wife likes. "Oreology" (top pic, bottom right corner). "Miss Green Tea" (bottom pic, top left corner), yg ni x manis sgt. Yg bottom pic with pink coating pun best & to its right, coffee lover mesti suka. Top pic, top row, left 1,2,3 I bet sedap jgk. First day dah selamat. And not forgetting Wardah's "Snow White".

Hmmm... am drooling here. ;-)

But I couldn't really appreciate the choc used. I prefer the choc in dunkin still.

Cepat mamamia pergi beratur... nanti queue panjang lagi!

Hi Nana,
Ingat lagi of course. Tx for dropping by.Oooo.. another doughnuts lover ye. Who wld have thought that American treat was originated in Indonesia. It rings a bell then, the staff cakap Melayu bunyi indon but fluent in English (lama beratur kan.. mcm2 observed). Tot college students doing part time...

Hello Jabishah, Wow! I have always love donuts. But prefer plain ones mostly, with coffee of course.
Here in Canada, people tend to slow down when passing donut stores as cops tend to stop for their coffee breaks.
And no crook would even think of robbing a donut shop, ha ha.
You keep well and have a nice day, Lee.

fatin, ni uncle jemir. next time baba goes to jakarta, tell him to buy the donuts at senayan city plaza. not much crowd and don't have to queue up.

p/s: sorry myn, u've got no more excuses not to buy for them after this...muahahahaha..!!!!

Hi Uncle Lee,
Yippee another doughnut lover! I don't think the cops here hv doughnuts for their break. More to roti canai... I guess.
Hahaha...We slow down only when we see a warning flash frm an incoming car. Must be a road block ahead.
Have a great day..
